In structuring WMC Resources' public reporting, we sought to align our approach with the principles of the international Global Reporting Initiative. The Global Reporting Initiative is an independent body established in collaboration with the United Nations' Environment Program to establish benchmarks for corporate sustainability reporting. WMC is committed to the principles developed by the initiative.

The WMC sustainability ‘contents index’ which reference the GRI guidelines and cross references into WMC Resources' business performance report and the Sustainability website is currently being updated.

The GRI contents index for the 2004 Sustainability performance will be available from this site by the end of May 2005.
