How we Manage Employees

We have developed the WMC Resources People System, which includes our ‘people principles’. These principles articulate aspirations for the relationship that WMC seeks with its employees, namely, a partnership between each person and the organisation that engages people and has everybody contributing and growing. These partnerships will continue to be built on trust, integrity, teamwork, involvement and shared goals that are consistent with the principle that we treat each other with respect and dignity.

We will act on these principles through our people policies, programs, processes and procedures that address:

  • organisational effectiveness
  • employee availability, capability, contribution and support
  • employment relationships.

These principles underpin our people system and are given substance through a range of employee programs including:

  • the performance management system - WMC4Me

  • graduate and vacation recruitment
  • fitness for work requirements
  • the Employee Assistance Program
  • educational support
  • financial benefits in several areas.
