Management Systems
In line with our mandatory company-wide integrated environment, health and safety management system, during 2004 we:
- undertook 44 internal audits at our sites
- conducted emergency preparedness exercises
- reviewed five existing and two new ‘major hazard standards’
- completed risk registers at our operations and developed plans and programs to either reduce or effectively manage our major business risks
- investigated the cause of major incidents and injuries, and shared the information through a company-wide ‘lessons learned’ system.
