Hi Fert has over 100 permanent employees, including agronomists and field representatives, who are assisted by temporary contractors at peak periods during the year.

Employee Development Programs

Investment in training and development continues to be a major focus for Hi Fert. Training initiatives include:

• emphasis on training agents in sound fertilizer management and associated land management "best practice" to pass on to end-users
• inclusion of all Hi Fert personnel in "The Difference" sessions which is a powerful re-enforcer of the Take Time Take Charge message
• roll out of Permit To Work, Isolation and Machinery safeguarding training for all plant personnel to raise awareness of plant safety issues and increase the competency level of all people involved so that we effectively manage risk.
